Neurofeedback training

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive form of EEG biofeedback training that provides real-time information about brain activity. Through repeated training sessions, individuals learn to strengthen patterns of brain functioning associated with improved self-regulation.

Neurofeedback aims to support the brain's natural capacity to adapt and develop more efficient patterns of functioning. It may be helpful for individuals experiencing difficulties related to attention, emotional regulation, stress, sleep, and aspects of cognitive functioning.

As with any intervention, outcomes can vary between individuals. Neurofeedback should be considered as part of a comprehensive approach to wellbeing.

If you would like to learn more about neurofeedback, including current research and professional resources, the following organisations provide additional information:

QEEg Brain Mapping

Quantitative EEG (QEEG) is an assessment process that records patterns of brain activity. The information gathered can help inform an individualised neurofeedback training plan and provide insight into areas of strength and potential dysregulation.
