QEEG & Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive form of training using the brains plasticity to set new patterns of regulation. The brain learns from a reward system on the screen by receiving real-time information about how it is performing. It learns to adjust itself, and over time these new regulated patterns become the regular pathways the brain uses. These changes in the brain can change how we respond both, cognitively and behaviourally. Neurofeedback can be helpful for any age.
Neurofeedback can assist with many conditions such as:
anxiety, stress, overwhelm
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) / focus and attention
emotional regulation
improving energy and mood
sleep quality including insomnia, bedwetting, night terrors

Neurofeedback is only offered in-person (not on-line) and includes a counselling component)
QEEG, (Quantitative Electroencephalography), is a recording that measures electrical activity in the brain using sensors placed on the scalp. It turns this activity into data that can be analysed to look for patterns related to brain functions such as attention, mood, sleep, learning, social perception and helps guide interventions such as neurofeedback.
